Yasmin Kumi founded Africa Foresight Group (AFG) in 2015 to follow her passion of fostering local economic value creation in Africa. AFG was dubbed the “McKinsey with an African soul” at a recent conference and currently has offices in London and Accra, serving clients with a growing team of more than 35 people. Aside from serving as the Managing Director of AFG, she also acts as the inaugural Executive Director of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance, the leading network for young African entrepreneurs.
Prior to founding AFG, Yasmin worked as a senior associate with McKinsey & Company for 5 years, mostly working with clients across Africa. She holds an MBA degree and a Master’s degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from European Business School and Seoul National University. In her free time she writes poetry, dances Salsa and is a passionate chef.
