Linda Mabhena-Olagunju is the Founder & Managing Director of DLO Energy Resources Group (Pty) Ltd, an independent power producer currently operating one of Africa’s largest wind farms. The company also has a portfolio of solar pv projects in Africa. Its objective is to become Africa’s largest black female owned IPP on the continent.
In 2017 Mabhena-Olagunju was listed in the Choiseul 100 Africa Economic Leaders For Tomorrow. She has also been featured on the front cover of Forbes Africa and has been recognised by ESI as 1 of the 50 Most Influential People in the African Power Sector. In 2014 she was featured on Oprah’s Power List amongst the 20 most powerful women in Africa. She is the only African currently sitting on the selection committee of the Zayed Sustainability Prize. She holds an LLB from UCT and an LLM from the University of Aberdeen. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
