Tinashe is a Partner, Co-Founder and Programming co-lead for the Rhodes Incubator. He is reading for a DPhil in Surgical Sciences at the University of Oxford and is investigating how low cost simulators could be used to improve training of surgical teams in developing countries. He is a recipient of the South African President’s Gold Award for Youth Empowerment (2010) and was recognised as one of the Top 200 ‘Young South Africans under 35’ (2016). Tinashe is also a Rhodes Scholar (SA-At-Large & Trinity, 2016). Tinashe believes that entrepreneurship is the key to solve Africa’s developmental problems.
